Vogue recently unveiled an exclusive peek into the pre-Grammy preparations of South African songstress Tyla, offering fans a glimpse into the moments preceding her monumental victory at the esteemed music awards.

 

Global (06 February 2024) –  Before winning her first Grammy, South African songstress Tyla had dreams of her success. “Maybe I have superpowers!” she says as she gets ready for the award show.

In a moment that left her almost speechless, Tyla Laura Seethal, known simply as Tyla, clinched her first Grammy Award at the youthful age of 22. “What the heck?!??!” exclaimed the South African artist upon hearing the news of her win for the 2024 Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance with her hit track, “Water.”
