mcdonalds-gets-a-gift-from-burger-king

McDonald’s have received the gift of fire with equipment to finally flame-grill their burgers.

The holiday season is a joyous time so the Burger King brand Whopper-Man did the unthinkable… He surprised McDonald’s in Cape Town, with the gift of fire: A grill with real flames!

Burger King brand did not spare any expense to make this special delivery. Because who doesn’t prefer a flame-grilled burger?

Now, finally, McDonald’s will be able to enjoy burgers the way we think they are supposed to be: flame-grilled.

Ezelna Jones, marketing executive for BURGER KING® South Africa, says: “With it being the season to be jolly, it means we like to give out gifts too. We wanted to reach out to our competitor during this joyful season to share with them – like our guests – how flame-grilled burgers taste.”

“As part of a global initiative, Burger King’s across the world will be wishing McDonald’s a flame-grilled festive season.”

The Burger King brand, known for flame-grilling burgers since 1954, have shared with the world the film ‘The Gift of Fire’ on Thursday, 14 December 2017 (which shows how they are delivering the gift of fire to Mcdonalds stores around the world).

And the gift giving doesn’t stop there. Burger King South Africa will also give 10 of their guests a gas braai too to ensure it’s a fiery festive season. Head to their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter for more information on how you can win a gas braai between 15 – 31 December 2017.

We’re waiting on pics from the Cape Town drop off but will update the article as soon they are ready.
