With National Cupcake Day on the menu tomorrow, we’re thrilled to see so many baked treats rolling in to make such an important difference! From Springbok-inspired goodies to floral’s sweetest, the creativity and kindness of community is loud and proud!

South Africa (29 September 2023) — As National Cupcake Day inches closer by the hour, cupcake angels from all over South Africa have already put their best bakes forward in anticipation of the big day. No mere ode to sweet treats, the cherry on top of the cupcake challenge led by Cupcakes of HOPE, will be the change created for kids with cancer in South Africa.

Tomorrow, cupcakes will unite in an icing-filled, impact-brimming way through parties of Hope (individual fundraisers featuring, you guessed it, cupcakes) or through National Cupcake Day’s participating malls where bakes will be available for donations, with proceeds set to help kids with cancer through Cupcakes of HOPE.

Last year, the organisation raised R2.1 million which allowed them to financially assist hundreds of patients.

This year, the cupcakes have begun rolling in with all kinds of creative goodies—from Springboks-inspired bakes to floral charms, rainbow assortments and cookie monsters:

You can support the cupcake angels and kids with cancer in South Africa by heading to any participating mall and supporting the sweetest cause:
